Our Story

Extending Education

Through collaborations with leading Somali Universities, such as Somali National University, Mogadishu University, and SIMAD University, MM Architects has pioneered architectural education and conservation in Somalia, training over 300 students in heritage documentation, urban analysis, and design research.

This marks the first time architecture, conservation, and urbanism have been taught as structured disciplines in Somali higher education since the collapse of state institutions linking academic learning directly to the urgent urban challenges facing Mogadishu today.
